Hi, I'm Emmelie! A brand designer and illustrator with a love for daring, personality-filled branding. It is my mission to help female entrepreneurs break the mould, stand out and unapologetically share their business - without feeling like they have to be extroverted to do so.

As women, we are conditioned to play small, fit the norm and stay in the background. So if a bold brand feels a little bit outside of your comfort zone (hello, fellow introverts), I get it.

From playing it safe to standing out
As an introvert with plain blond hair and a once-muted wardrobe, I never thought a punchy, attention- grabbing brand look would be my thing. I don't like to be the centre of attention in a crowd or share opinions uninvited. But I’ve always loved art and colour because, let’s be honest there is enough beige in the world.

After having my second child I wanted to focus on my career, find a more challenging, creative function that was flexible around my kids. I had a hard time finding this in an employed setting so decided to start my own VA business. But I created my first branding that was really playing it safe​ as I was too scared to stand out.
When I pivoted my business from a VA to brand design and illustrations, I knew I wanted something that caught my audience's attention. Leaving my safe space wasn’t easy though, but creating my own bold brand filled me with joy.
Through this experience, I found my passion for vibrant, personality- filled branding. I realise not everyone has the skill - and some might need a bit of a nudge - to create a brand that stands out. So now I help other female founders like me show up unapologetically and attract their dream clients.
Taking the leap and embracing a bold brand that truly reflects what I do was scary, but it was so worth it. Now, I love helping others do the same.
